Signature Paintings
These are very much ‘site-specific’. The Walter Benjamin
was painted in Norwich Art School during East 2001, the indexical sign of
a presiding cultural ideal. The William Hogarth was painted during ‘Fabric’
at Pitshanger Manor, Ealing. Hogarth’s ‘Rake’s Progress’
once hung in the now sadly empty house.
